Menu Planning

MENUgistics® in an online web based menu program that allows customers to access four standardized menus with more than 8,000 recipes. Customers can make as many changes as they desire and even create their own recipes and menus. Hawkeye Foodservice also offers a Menu integrated tray ticket service that compensates for patient likes and dislikes, allergies, and alternative meal items. In addition to this, Hawkeye Foodservice offers Theme Meal and Holiday Meal Books to provide fun and diverse meal options for special events or times of the year. Irene Duffy - ServSafe InstructorContinuing Education

The Health Care Team organizes regional health care meetings with continuing education training available.We also offer free educational opportunities at each of Hawkeye’s three buying shows including ServSafe seminars in both English and Spanish as well as the Illinois Foodservice Sanitation Manager Certification. ServSafe seminars provide you with the knowledge, skills and abilities you need in the food industry. Learn the basics from hand washing to more complex topics such as foodborne pathogens. ServSafe provides you with the building blocks to keep food safe throughout your operation.
